Searching for a Ghost
Price: £0.79
My epitaph for James Whitehorn, a great friend whose tragic death will never be forgotten and whose life will always be celebrated. What a guy - small in stature but big in heart and despite being a “trustafarian” he never looked down on others – in fact quite the opposite. James encouraged and developed the talents of many people much less fortunate than himself. His irrevocable sense of fun combined with an amazing intellect and sharp humour meant every interaction with the guy was hilarious. He is so missed and always will be, someone so talented and individual is totally irreplaceable.

So I stayed in
Ladbroke Grove
Searching for a ghost
An old friend
From the 80’s
Now gone
Too much blow
Too much coke
I think the pub
Used to be real bad
Now it’s just sad
Looking for its soul
I thought if I stayed there
I’d be closer to
What you’d been through
But I’m not you!!
I’m Searching for a Ghost
Down Ladbroke Grove
Searching For a Ghost
Someone I know!
I’m on those streets
Where we once played
Too little – too late
I lost a great mate
Yet you live on
In our memories
You’re not gone
You’re - living on!!
I’m Searching for a Ghost
Down Ladbroke Grove
Searching for a ghost
Someone I know
