Have a Nice LA Baby!!

I was amazed with LA - circling LAX - I knew it was a really big sprawling city but when you actually see it from the sky - fantastic!

So this is an ode to LA in that there is a real vibe for me of freedom and possibilities, artistic and of course material whereby anything seems possible. So many people must feel that and why not, it is there.

LA is like life itself – depends upon what you make of it. The weather is hard to comprehend coming from a cold climate and that makes such a difference to a feeling of well-being.

Plus, there is so much variety, as long as you can afford it. And something that really struck me was that you can be what you want to be and even if that’s being a wannabee so what? That’s okay – I just referenced millions of people who go there for that very reason – including me.

This song for me represents freedom, spontaneity, creativity and being allowed to be who you are – totally – no compromise. There is also a more subtle vibe going on in LA for me which is that everything is here that you could ever want but it is up to you to choose, what you want and who you want to be. It would be very easy to lose your identity or wander down the wrong path here so to survive in LA I think you need to be very self-assured and clear as to who you are and what you want to do. Maybe the scale of LA simply amplifies that reality.
